Product Manager II
2018 to 2019
I am currently employed as a full time employee with Dell as a Principal Experience Strategist, though I started with Dell in 2018 as a Senior Product Designer, and through my tenure, have had a hand in some of the company’s highest profile digital experiences and influence on the direction that the company’s digital ecosystem of sites and applications has taken.
Today I sit on what we call the Concept Car team as both a Principal Strategist, which essentially means that my work spans the bridge between your typical product owner and lead designer. It is my responsibility on all projects that I’m assigned to understand the landscape of the product and how it can be made more human-centric, better connected, more intelligent, and deliver upon not only current-state outcomes but next-gen and future state outcomes too; ensuring that Dell and its customers are well prepared to head into the data decade and emerge a leader in the industry through disruptive and breakthrough digital experiences.

Self Employed
2016 to 2018
Between 2016 and 2018 l spent two years as a freelance digital product strategist and designer at large specializing in the discovery, customer/user interview cycle, and end-to-end customer experience strategy.
Work included mobile apps, fully-responsive and accessible browser-based websites, and high-level customer experience (CX) strategy for clients including Honda/Acura National and Global, the Ford Motor Company, Volvo Cars USA and Global, Subaru Australia, and Yelp! among others. I successfully lead and implemented digital experiences for new-vehicle launches, piloted brand-new V2G (vehicle-to-grid) and IOT (internet of things) mobile applications and experiences, and 2-5 year strategy exercises. These years of engagement allowed me to quickly scale in all areas of my skillset from traditional/core UX/Ul to user and customer research, testing, producing dev-ready deliverables and team/product leadership.Product & Design at Large
Senior/Lead Digital and Experiential Designer
2016 to 2018
Digital and Experiential Designer
2016 to 2016
I was hired at Design Workshop as a Visual Designer (fulfilling the role of an Art Director and Digital Product Designer) to work on both client work and internal design for the firm. In my role, I both lead (a team of designers across the firm's offices) and support (the executive leadership team and project teams) across a wide range of graphic tasks. These projects expanded my understanding and capability to include digital design in space, interactive and immersive experiential graphic design, brand and identity campaigns, and IoT digital design for spaces. Of my projects from this time, the Hotel Passport work we did for one of our hotel clients on an app that allowed guests to fully control and connect with the hotel was my favorite. I was also responsible for both finding value in the firm's marketing strategies through design but also leveraging my work and my professional experience to bring in $1,000,000 in billable fee per year for the design team.
Sr. Presentation Design
2015 to 2016
I joined RPA as an Art Director and Designer to work on both Honda/Acura National and Honda/Acura regional. As a designer who is well-versed in both print and digital work, I was tasked with developing unique assets and collateral for high-profile industry events (such as industry auto shows) that elevated the brand beyond the standard issue brochures that are produced for every vehicle. This resulted in the “I Am Accord” and follow-up “I Am Pilot” print projects (as well as the super cool digital motion design reel that accompanied the I Am Accord campaign for the LA Auto Show). I was also involved in work for FX, Mandalay Bay and Delano Las Vegas (MGM), and AmPm/Arco projects. Just before departing, I was also on the core team that won the Southwest Digital Agency of Record contract, a multi-million dollar job.
Visual Designer II
2013 to 2014
Visual Design Intern
2012 to 2012
I was employed by Belkin International as a visual designer in their brand studio. Here, I worked with the team that was in charge of designing the brand new “PIP” (People Inspired Products) redesign that brought Belkin into its next generation with its merger with Cisco and its launch of the WeMo brand. I started as an intern as a requisite for the degree program I was working toward at that point, and was later brought back on as a full time employee in the Visual Designer II role before leaving Belkin to take a full time role at RPA (above).
